In 1946, Lyle Campbell entered the trash business when he purchased a small route from his brother, Lloyd Campbell. In 1947, Lyle Campbell & Sons was established. Lyle had a strong and dependable workforce in his three sons. Lyle grew the business by focusing on great customer service, hard work, and acquisition.
Lynn Campbell, much like his father before him, started his own trash route in 1978 after buying a small part of his father’s route. Big River Disposal was built on the same basic principles as Lyle Campbell & Sons. Lynn made commercial hauling the focus of his business, giving his customers the same level of service that his dad was providing to residential customers. After 44 years of serving New London, Hannibal and surrounding communities, Lynn sold the roll-off dumpster portion to his nephew, Jordan “Lyle” Gosney in July of 2021. In September of 2022, Jordan and his wife acquired the rest of the business from Lynn.
As a local and family-owned business, Big River Disposal strives to provide professional and quality dumpster rental and waste removal services to all commercial and residential customers throughout New London, Hannibal and surrounding areas.

Jordan is a 3rd-generation with over 17 years of experience working along side with his family in the waste management industry. Jordan has a special interest in corporate environmental sustainability. Having a broad understanding of the industry, and many years of experience in business management, he is driven to create sustainable solutions for our clients.
Trang Hoang-Gosney
VP of Operations
Currently serving as the VP of Operations, Trang is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functioning of the organization, and managing customer relationships.
Trang’s expertise lies in the area of finance and accounting, and she holds a prestigious CPA designation. Throughout her career, Trang has gained experience in a variety of different industries. This has given her a broad understanding of the challenges that businesses face, and has equipped her with the skills and knowledge necessary to tackle them head-on. Her ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement has helped her to streamline operations and boost efficiency in business operations.
